House-made vanilla: Our vanilla is made in-house with Madagascar vanilla beans and aged for a minimum of six months.

​Pursuant to Iowa Code § 137F.20, First Call Bakery operates as a home-based cottage food producer. All goods produced are non-time/temperature control for safety (non-TCS) foods and are sold directly to consumers.

Our Journey

Crafting with Passion and Tradition
First Call Bakery was founded by Joanne Mack. I’m a mom of four (three grown and one still at home), and I’ve always found joy in baking comforting treats—cookies, cinnamon rolls, sweet breads, muffins, and more. What began as a longtime dream is now also a way to give back: 5% of our profits are donated to first responder and veteran organizations as a small thank-you for the service and sacrifices they make every day.
